We have added a 10k road/trail course!
Join us for the 5th Annual paws4people 5k, 10k, and 1 mile fun walk at UNCW! This year we are happy to announce an added 10k course that runs both on the roads and trails behind UNCW. The 5k and 10k courses will utilize the cross-city trails as well as showcasing UNCW's beautiful campus.
paws4people™ trains and certifies customized Assistance Dogs, who are provided free of charge to children, veterans and active-duty military members with disabilities.
There will be a raffle held during the race with items donated by local merchants. Raffle tickets will be $1 each, so bring some extra cash!
This year's race will also feature Start 2 Finish Timing, using the state-of-the-art Jaguar system which allows for live results, finish line feed, printable and QR code customized results. For more information, please see our timing page.
All well-behaved and leashed dogs may join us at the event. Please bring bags to clean up after your pet!
